Blender is a free and open-source set of professional-grade 3D animation tools. The project was first created by Ton Roosendaal and is now maintained by the Blender Foundation.

The goal of this foundation is to, “Build a free and open-source complete 3D pipeline for artists and small teams.”

Students in our Blender 3D Graphics STEM program will learn to navigate the extensive user interface of the animation suite. In our classes, we strive to show what can be done with various tools and to reinforce the results with practice. When our class is over, students should be able to create or modify an existing 3D object’s structure, coloring, and animation with ease.
